  • From company strategy to organization’s risks;
  • Fundamental aspects related to risk – purpose, terms, definitions;
  • Risk categories – market, hazard, strategic, operational;
  • Risks and industries versus risk appetite;
  • Top 10 business risks and top 10 risks in each field of activity – practical simulation on the examples of Business case participants (part 1).

Session 2

  • Risk approach – identification, impact assessment, monitoring and reporting;
  • Risk assessment and analysis framework;
  • Impact & probability analysis and probability estimation;
  • Risk impact matrix;
  • Quantitative and qualitative risk analysis;
  • Practical simulation on the participants’ examples of Business case (part 2).

Session 3

  • The evaluation process of risks and specific techniques (brainstorming, interviews, Delphi, PHA, HAZOP, HACCP, toxicity, “what ifs”, scenarios, BIA, RCA etc.)
  • Ways to prioritize risks;
  • Ways to prioritize risks – case study;
  • Practical simulation on the participants’ examples of Business case (part 3).

Session 4

  • Methods of counteracting risks (acceptance, transfer, avoidance);
  • Risk contraction – planning, identifying specific actions, evaluating strategies;
  • Risk monitoring and control;
  • Practical simulation on the participants’ examples of Business case (part 4).
