The working methods used in the Business Strategy program combines facilitated discussions, inside teams and with all the class, with complex analysis of case studies from different industries. The learning process consists in:

• Applying covered concepts in practical exercises;

• Analysis of business case studies and identification of possible solutions;

• Sharing experiences and good practices;

• Examples from various industries.

The added value of participating in this program is determined by the fact that, starting from the discussed concepts, you can develop a specific action plan for your own company, accomplishing an analysis and decision making methodology that is modern and useful. These things are possible through the practical experience of EXEC-EDU’s experts that work constantly with managerial teams. They’ve got the capacity to transfer competences to participants by facilitating debates.

Optionally, after attending the course, we propose you to elaborate the SWOT and the strategic sketch of your company. The result of these actions will be the subject of discussions assisted by EXEC-EDU experts within a free hour of consultancy. This session will be conducted individually with each applicant in order to ensure confidentiality. The purpose of this exercise is to create a mechanism for analysis and decision for the company management to use as basis for a permanent adaptation of the strategy at the external and internal context.   • External factors influencing company’s strategy and the opportunities and threats arising from them. Understanding the environment perspective that they belong, the competition mechanisms and their evolution (PESTEL Model, Industry life cycle, Porter Model, key success factors, the driving forces of change);
  • Internal factors on the links in the chain of value and cost – resources and competencies that determine strengths and points to be improved (weaknesses);
  • The importance of SWOT in early identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The company’s goal is to maximize the strengths and minimize then improve the weaknesses, capitalizing the opportunities and avoiding the threats that it is exposed to;
  • Understanding the steps that must be taken in order to implement the developed strategies (at operational, organizational, financial levels etc.);
  • Identification of the symptoms, challenges and problems in face of strategic change.
